What’s On Your Browser?

We asked Governor Dean, "What's on your browser?"
He said:
..."the list of international sites includes the Financial Times, Haaretz, the Guardian there are also a couple of soccer sites and a Chinese news site".

And Awesome New Republic's front-man Michael John Hancock shares with us his favorite websites.

"ANR's Top Ten Digital Hotspots (in no particular order)":
1. http://www.sweatrecordsmiami.com
Our home-girl Lauren runs an awesome record store down here in Miami and their site has a good blog for what's going on that is regularly updated. We also check out Crossfade, the Miami New Times music blog, which is a good place to find out what's going on around town as well.

2. http://www.cnn.com
Their site is really easy to navigate, and a simple way for us to stay abreast as to what's happening in the world.

3. http://www.dlisted.com
The best, and least self-serving, gossip blog on the web (in our opinion). Your one stop shop for nip-slips, scandals, and the hilarious happenings within the entertainment industry.

4. http://www.vangloria.net/pureimagination/
The magic city's number one story teller.

5. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=czb5GmVU4gA
This t.v. performance is from our favorite period of one of our favorite performers, David Bowie. Andrian Belew and Carlos Alomar are two monsters in their own right as well. We listen to Station to Staion through Lodger all the time, not to mention a hearty helping of Iggy Pop's "The Idiot."

6. http://www.panicbomber.com/
A good friend of ours, Panic Bomber, who has remixed our stuff. His live show is a lot of fun, with him incorporating a lot of multimedia elements, including a full body suit with sound sensitive laser lights.

7. http://www.meniscusthemovie.com
Our drummer's first feature length film, still in production. We can't wait til it's finished. The cinematography is beautiful from what we've seen so far.

8. http://www.netflix.com
Nothing says "procrastionation" like "watch instantly." This is the greatest blockade to us getting work done on the web.

9. http://www.coralmorphologic.com
Our friends Colin and Jared are some awesome marine biologists, and good at incorporating science into art as well. Nothing beats seeing their discoveries in person, but for the majority of the world that doesn't live in Miami, their site does the job well.

10. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dM0XrLGEGis
Years later, this Liars video remains our collective favorite. They're one of the reasons we started ANR in the first place.
